Some aircraft to see at last

Wednesday 24th April 2011 was a touch misty

Myself Phil Charlton and the Irwins fought our way out of a misty Tesside to go over the border to Newcastle to see and hear some aircraft, which our airport at Teeside sadly lacks these days.

It was warm and sunny and although not non stop we enjoyed a few hours of take off's and landings from both runways.

Hope you enjoy the few shots i have added and will add a couple more over the next few days

Sad to see them go along with the Harrier.Unfortunately the role that they were designed for in the early 70s has long gone.
