Swallows

And Boeings

On Thursday 19th MAY myself and Jon Irwin had a few hours spare.

We decided to have a look along the North Tees Estuary where we found a Swallows nest inside an old shed on the bank side. We managed to get some good shots of nesting Swallows which i have added to my Bird Gallery

We then went to Durham Tees Valley Airport, to catch an Astraeus B757. We were hoping to catch "Iron Maiden". However it turned out to be the plain blue aircraft which was at one time flown by Canadian Airline Zoom, before it went out of business. This has been added in the Civilian Airliner Gallery

Sad to see them go along with the Harrier.Unfortunately the role that they were designed for in the early 70s has long gone.
